New volunteers who indicate their interest in the mentoring programme will be mentees; this will involve meeting your mentor 3 or 4 times between April and June, for around an hour each time, and doing a short bible study and having a discussion together.
Returning volunteers can sign up to be a mentee or a mentor. Signing up as a mentee will give returning volunteers the opportunity to grow further in their understanding of leadership and service, again over 3 or 4 sessions with their mentor.
Experienced returning volunteers can sign up to be mentors; this will involve arranging to meet your mentee 3 or 4 times between April and June. Mentors will be provided with bible study outlines and discussion questions to use as a basis for the meetings, and we will endeavour to connect mentees with mentors who are from the same geographical area as far as possible. Once the mentoring partnerships are set up, each pair can choose when suits best to meet, depending on work and school commitments.
